What Ping Rush actually measures
Browsers cannot send normal ICMP ping packets to arbitrary game servers. Ping Rush repeatedly measures the round-trip time of tiny same-origin requests to RaceMyNet’s edge. That makes it useful for spotting local latency, jitter and connection spikes, but your ping to a specific COD, Fortnite or EA server can be different because the route and server location are different.
